The No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Lexus-Riley qualified tenth on the grid for the Rolex Sports Car Series season-finale after Oswaldo Negri posted a time of 2:41.768 around the 4.5-mile Miller Motorsports Park road course on Friday. Justin will be sharing driving duties with defending race winners Negri and Mark Patterson during Saturday's 1000k, seven and a half hour endurance race.
"After being fourth in the practice times so far this weekend, we are a little disappointed with where we ended up here today," said team owner Mike Shank. "We need to go back and study the data to see where we are missing out because we've been strong all weekend and thought we could start a little closer to the front. But we know it's a long race tomorrow and how we do in qualifying is obviously not nearly as important as how the car goes in the race, so we are going to stay focused on that."
