Daytona Beach, FL (January 24, 2013)- All three Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3s qualified in the top-10 for tomorrow's BMW Performance 200 at Daytona International Speedway competing in the GS category of the GRAND-AM Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge.
AL CARTER (#45 Fall-Line Motorsports/Eagle Technology Group/BePositive.org BMW M3): "Qualifying went well. Our goal is to get the Eagle Technology/ Be Positive BMW to start and finish in the top-five so we have accomplished half of that. The field got rambunctious early and started running into each other, which only allowed for one timed lap. My lap was good enough to put us at the sharp end of the grid. I am certain that all three Fall-Line BMWs will be consistent in tomorrow's race."
The #48 will start fifth and was driven by Brett Sandberg in qualifying. He will share the car tomorrow with Charles Espenlaub.
BRETT SANDBERG (#48 Fall-Line Motorsports/ Beverage Flavors International BMW M3): "The #48 car was very fast in qualifying today, but an unfortunate incident cut our session short. Despite only getting one clean lap we still ended up P5 so I'm satisfied with that. Thanks to the Fall-Line crew for putting together a fast race car!"
The #46 ended up seventh with team owner Mark Boden in the car. Bryan Sellers will split driving duties in tomorrow's race.
MARK BODEN (#46 Fall-Line Motorsports/Trim-Tex Drywall Products BMW M3): "I'm happy for all of our drivers. Everyone did a great job out there. We've got really solid cars and I know we are in good shape for the race tomorrow. The BMW loves this track and I qualknow we all have the speed to finish up front. It's a long race and we all know anything can happen but the first stint will be crucial and I'll be pushing hard and staying out of trouble so I can hand over the reigns to Bryan (Sellers) and hopefully bring home the big trophy."
The BMW Performance 200 is set to take the green flag at 1:45p ET. on Friday.
