Enge succeeded in testing in Daytona

Tomas Enge ended up successfully three days testing in american Daytona. In last riding day for preliminary race of Grand-Am Championship, famous 24 hours marathon, he made fourth time absolutely even in king's cathegory Daytona Prototypes. At the same time he was the fastest driver of the last practice. He drove for american team Alegra Motorsports (www.alegramotorsports.com) as colleague of home drivers Ryan Dalziel and Carlos de Quesada and Canadian Jean-Francois Dumoulin.

Crew were changing in prototype Gatorade/Today MD BMW Riley. Tests are traditional preparation before 24hours race on circuit of Daytona International Speedway (www.daytonaintlspeedway.com). Race-ground is well known by its oval circuit for battles of NASCAR series, nevertheless for marathon needs, the profile is changed and remains common circuit.

"We had a few problems during this test, but it looks like at the end of the test it looks like we've sorted out the small issues and we've set up the car quite well," Enge (www.tomas-enge.com) said. "We've still got a ways to go before the race, but the car looks good and we feel very positive. I still need a few more laps to be comfortable, but it's working well. It's not perfect yet, but I know we will work hard and we will be ready before the race and we will be strong."
