STARWORKS READY TO WIN THIS SUMMER!

Starworks team owner, Peter Baron, recently answered questions about where his team stands after four races and where it is heading. "I'm not too surprised by our good results so far, because this is what we were expecting and we're naturally pushing for better results. We earned a podium finish at one race so far and had other strong showings. Our cars are quick but we still want to push hard for a few wins this year. With the talented people that we have assembled, we are expecting even better results. We are not going to be satisfied until we get out first 1-2 finish. We are working hard with Riley and Dinan to keep our cars fast. The crew is also working on making the car better and everyone is motivated at Starworks Motorsport to get our drivers the best cars we can. We really want to keep Ryan and Mike in contention to finish top three in the year end standings."

KASPER ANDERSEN IS READY FOR LIME ROCK

Danish racecar driver, Kasper Andersen, joined Starworks Motorsport for the 2010 Rolex Series season at Barber but was forced to miss the VIR race because of the problems encountered from the famous Iceland Volcano that grounded him in his native Denmark where he resides. Kasper Andersen is one of the few drivers that needs to cross the Atlantic each time there is a race in North America which makes it a very long week each time he comes. He is excited to be back racing in the series at Lime Rock. "I'm very excited especially after the frustration of not making it to VIR because of the volcano. It would be nice to finally get some consistency back in to my career. I think Lime Rock is an awesome track and the team had a successful and productive test day there, showing some great speed. I think our setup suits the track well. It is going be hard to pass so qualifying is going to be crucial and the key if you want to have a good finish. I look forward to this new challenge and to be back in the Starworks Motorsport Flex-Box Dinan-BMW Riley with my teammate Bill Lester".

PHILIPPE JOINS STARWORKS FOR THE GLEN

Former Champ car race winner, Frenchman Nelson Philippe, will co-drive the #7 Flex-Box Starworks Motorsport Dinan-BMW Riley Daytona prototype at the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen at Watkins Glen International Raceway on June 4-5, 2010 with Bill Lester and Kasper Andersen. It will be Nelson Philippe's first race in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series. Since 2003, Nelson has been enjoying a very successful early career in Barber Dodge Pro Series, Champ Car, Indy Racing League, SuperLeague Formula and F2 Asia Series. At 17, he became the youngest driver to ever race in Champ Car. Between 2004 and 2009 Philippe competed at the highest level of North American open-wheel racing. In 2006, Nelson Philippe won the Champ car race in Surfer's Paradise Australia and at only 19, became the youngest winner in Champ Car World Series history.
