TOP-FIVE FINISH FOR ROB FINLAY AND MICHAEL MCDOWELL AT PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

PHOENIX, AZ (May 13, 2006) - As the temperature passed the 100 degree mark at Phoenix International Raceway the Grand American Series prepared for the drop of the green flag for the Grand Am Cup race. The 35-car field pulled off the front straightaway and into turn one, by the end of the first lap Rob Finlay already improved on his 15th place starting position.

As the race continued, Finlay did an incredible job maneuvering through the traffic and managed to get the No.15 Playboy/Palms Ford-powered Mustang into the lead pack before turning the driving duties over to Phoenix's own Michael McDowell. McDowell climbed behind the wheel after the green flag pit stop and began to move his way back up through the field.

By the end of the 200-mile/133-lap/2- hour time limit race the No.15 was running back in the top-five, giving the Mooresville, NC team their second top-five finish of the season.

Driver Quotes:

Rob Finlay: "That was unbelievable. It's was really hot out there, the heat coming from the exhaust through the floor boards just cooked my feet now I know what the NASCAR guys must go through. Without the yellows I just knew that I had to hang in there and get the car to Michael in the top-five."

Michael McDowell: "The car was pretty good. Obviously it was hot out there so that made it a little more difficult but we were able to come away with a top- five finish. The weight disadvantage to the Porsche really hurt us when it came to passing but we'll just keep doing what we can and see what happens in Lime Rock."
