MOSPORT, ONTARIO Jamie Holtom drove forward in the SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged during the second half of Saturday's Grand-Am Cup Series Mosport 200 to hand his teammate, and father Jim an early Father's Day present a win. It was the second win in seven days for the Georgian Bay Motorsports Team and the SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged.

"This is great to win here my home track and a fantastic Father's Day present," said Jamie Holtom, who took the lead with just three laps remaining in the race. "I pushed hard, and our SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged was up to the task. It's great to win my first race, but even better to have my dad as a teammate."

Jim Holtom, who won last weekend at the Glen, put the SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged on the pole for Saturday's race, and led the early part of the race before handing over to son Jamie. "He did a fantastic job," Holtom said. "At one point I think he passed at least two cars on the outside of Turn 1 I couldn't watch anymore."

After arriving in victory lane, Holtom could once again breathe a sigh of relief. "This couldn't be a better outcome," Jim said. "With this being Father's Day and all, to win with my son is something special for both of us and the entire Georgian Bay Motorsports Team."

Holtom also praised the work by the Georgian Bay Motorsports Team that has gotten the team two wins in the last two races. "The SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged has come a long way. The team has worked hard, but there is still some work to do. Chevrolet has also been a big help to this effort, and it clear that the Cobalt SS Supercharged is a winner on and off the track."

With the win, Jim Holtom now sits atop the driver points standings in the ST class.
