Law Prepares for Busy Final Leg of 2005 Grand American Sports Car Series Competition Schedule

As the 2005 Grand American Sports Car Series schedule winds down for the end of the year, the action heats up as endurance racing specialist Darren Law prepares for three Grand American weekends over the next month. Darren will be pulling double duty at each event as he will compete in the Rolex series races with David Donohue and the entire #58 Red Bull Brumos Porsche squad in the Daytona Prototype class, as well as then driving the Grand Sports class #6 Zoom Motorsports Porsche 996 with Mike McCalmont.

Darren's busy month starts at Mid-Ohio the weekend of August 26th and 27th for the EMCO Gears Classic at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. First practice for the upcoming Mid-Ohio event will begin at 9:30 AM on 8/26 with the race scheduled for 5:30 PM on 8/27. The SPEED Channel will broadcast the event on a tape delayed basis at 12:00 PM EST on 8/28.

Law will then travel back home to Phoenix for the Phoenix 250 September 8-10. The short Phoenix International Raceway infield road course will necessitate separate races for the GT class and Daytona Prototype class cars. Darren's race at his hometown tack will be broadcast on the SPEED Channel on 9/11 at 4:00 PM EST.

Darren will finish his busy month of driving at the Crown Royal 250 at the Glen at Watkins Glen International Raceway in Watkins Glen, New York. The Crown Royal 250 is scheduled for the weekend of September 22nd through the 24th and will be broadcast live on the SPEED Channel at 3:00 PM EST on September 24th.
