#43 HRPWorld.com preview: HRPworld.com team getting stronger every race
The 2003 Grand-Am Cup season has seen the HRPworld.com team get stronger and stronger at every event. Entering round five at California, the King Motorsports Acuras Integras are ready to push forward and retain their 2001 and 2002 ST II Championships.
At Barber Park, the King Motorsports Acura Integras were just a bit short of a perfect weekend. After 2 1/2 hours of racing, Will Nonnamaker missed out on first place by only 7 feet. The team claimed 2nd, 3rd and 4th, but in addition the team was fastest in the race, qualifying, practice and test day.
Prior to Alabama, HRPWorld.com captured first and third in Round 3 at Phoenix International Raceway.
"California was a strong event for us last year with a run to second place," states Will Nonnamaker. "We are on a mission this weekend to finish one better. Howie is really proving why he was the 2000 ST I Champion. He is really getting tuned into our King Motorsports Acuras, and he is starting to fly. His pole at Barber is testament enough of that."
