Team i-MOTO Starts Strong with a 3rd place Podium and a Top Five Finish:

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida The i-MOTO team showed the off season work and -- testing paid off with a strong 3rd place podium and 5th place finish at the Daytona Three Hour Koni Challenge Race on January 26th. The highlight of the event was the amazing come-back driver from last place (104th starting grid) to a third place podium finish performed by, Nick Wittmer and Kuno Wittmer (piloting the #32 Acura TSX) of Hudson, Quebec, Canada.

A technical infraction of the TSX body work caused Nicks Wittmer 3rd place qualifying time to be nullified. Honda veteran Lee Niffenegger joined Roger Foo and Glenn Boochino in the #31 Acura TSX sister car.

With three drivers this creates one extra pit stop for the trio. Fortunately, the i-MOTO race crew, headed by crew chief Tom Badger, made three flawless pit stops, keeping the trio within striking distance of the leaders. Time was not on the trio's side, but still managed a strong 5th place, missing 4th place only by fractions of a second.

The i-MOTO Racing team will continue the momentum at the Homestead Miami Speedway 400K Koni Challenge Race on April 15th 2007.
