SELLERS TO KICK OFF 2009 SEASON WITH DOUBLE HEADER WEEKEND

The 2009 race season kicks off in a big way for Bryan Sellers as the 26 year-old driver will contest in both the Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona and the Koni Sports Car Challenge this weekend.

Sellers will compete in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in the No.30 Mazda RX-8 fielded by Racers Edge Motorsports. Sellers, who claimed a GT podium finish at the 2008 endurance classic, will team with Dane Cameron, Doug Paterson and Dion von Molke in the race for the GT victory.

"It's fantastic to have Bryan on our team," said Jon Mirachi, President & Team Manager of Racers Edge Motorsports. "We've worked with him in the past and he has proven to be not only one of the fastest drivers we've ever had in the car, but a great help with tuning the car and coaching the other drivers on the team. We're lucky to have him as part of our Rolex 24 line up."

Before the Rolex 24 gets underway, Sellers will compete in the Koni Sports Car Challenge on Friday afternoon. The Koni Challenge Fresh from Florida 200 marks the beginning of a full season championship chase for Sellers as he returns for a second year with Maxwell Paper Racing.

"Having Bryan join us for our second season is a great advantage," said Kendall Smith, Team Manager for Maxwell Paper Racing. "The team has grown so much in the off-season and we are proud of the advances that have been made but having Bryan to maximize them will bring winning results throughout the season."

After a successful freshman season in 2008 Koni Challenge, Maxwell Paper Racing will field a Porsche 911 GT3 racer for the 2009 season. Sellers will again team with Dan DiLeo for a second season in the No.77.

"I am looking forward to driving with Dan (D iLeo) again this season," said Sellers. "The continuity of it helps. Dan and I grew up karting together and we know each other's driving style so hopefully that will give us an advantage as the season unfolds."

Sellers' race weekend begins on Friday, January 23 with the Koni Challenge Fresh from Florida 200 at 1:45 p.m. followed by the 47th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 24.
