Evolution Motorsports announced today that they will be sponsoring Gene Sigal Racing's Porsche GT3 Cup car in the upcoming Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series Race, scheduled for Friday, April 9th and Saturday, April 10th, at Phoenix International Raceway.
Evolution Motorsports is a Tempe, AZ based business that specializes in performance upgrades for German automobiles (www.evoms.com). President/Owner of Evolution Motorsports, Todd Zuccone states, "We exist to satisfy our customers' addiction to speed and performance. As a world-renowned tuner and as motorsports are becoming more popular, Evolution Motorsports has grown. The Evolution Motorsports' sponsored car is owned and driven by a qualified winning veteran driver Gene Sigal. He has numerous wins in shifter karts and cars including Ferrari, Porsche, Mazda and Barber Dodge. Gene Sigal is an exceptionally fast and talented driver. He qualified the Porsche GT3 Cup car in pole position during first testing outing at Las Vegas Speedway in February. Additionally, Gene finished third in a recent race against 16 Vipers at Button Willow as a promotional stunt for the Viper Racing League. In early March, Gene ran the car again against the Vipers at Thunder Hill finishing first in class on day one and second on day two.

Sigal Will face some stiff competition in Phoenix as Nascar Nextel Cup driver Kyle Petty will be joining Gunnar Racing at the wheel of a Porsche GT3 RS for Phoenix 250.
