DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (December 15, 2000) - Grand-Am President Roger Edmondson has announced the appointment of Greg Otte as Director of Marketing effective immediately.

Otte, 31, comes to Grand-Am Racing from Disney Sports Attractions where he worked at the Wide World of Sports complex as Manager, Sponsorship and Promotions for the Orlando Rays AA baseball club.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Otte has been involved in sports and entertainment marketing since the mid-90s, having also worked for Sea World and the All Star Cafe, a sports-themed restaurant owned by Planet Hollywood, where he developed special promotions with sports stars like golfer Tiger Woods and hockey great Wayne Gretsky.

Greg currently lives in Orlando with his wife Nancy-Ellen and is planning to relocate to the Daytona Beach area very soon.

"I'm very excited about being involved with Grand-Am, especially at this point in its development," Otte noted. "Being based at the World Center of Racing gives me a constant reminder of what we can achieve and getting involved this early in its history allows me the chance to help make it happen."

Rick Goolsby has also joined the Grand-Am staff as Marketing Coordinator. He brings a solid motorsports background to the Grand-Am marketing effort having previously worked for NASCAR and MRN Radio. Goolsby, 34, lives in Daytona Beach with his wife Sherry.
