The 26 MOMO NGT Motorsport Porsche 18th in GT after 18 hours!
After 18 hours, the No. 26 Momo NGT Motorsport Porsche GT3 is running in 18th place. The MOMO NGT Motorsport team was doing very well until the early morning. The car had absolutely no problem until 6:30 AM today.
After a routine pit stop to change the brakes, a crew member discovered a problem on the front left damper of the 26 MOMO Porsche GT3. Sean Edwards was 10th at the time of the incident.
The car was pushed back to the garage and unfortunately it took 20 minutes to repair the problem. The crew did a great job but the 26 car lost 7 positions and is now 13 laps behind the GT leader.
Henrique Cisneros, Carlos Kauffmann, Nick Tandy and Sean Edwards had some great expectations for the end of the race but with 6 hours to go in the race, it is going to be very tough for the MOMO drivers to get back in the top ten. In racing everything is possible so they remain confident.
This is MOMO NGT Motorsport's first Rolex 24 At Daytona.
The MOMO NGT Motorsport team led by Ramez Wahab finished third last year in the 12 Hours of Sebring in the GTC class. the MOMO NGT Motorsport team and the drivers were really motivated to end today's race with a great result at the 50th running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona
