6.16.09 Braselton, GA - Over the last two seasons, The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio has delivered both highs and lows for the Farnbacher Loles Racing team. Last year, Leh Keen and Eric Lux teamed up for a hard-fought win in the Grand-Am Rolex Series Emco Gears Classic. The victory was even more meaningful to Keen, since he had left the track on a stretcher in 2007 after a heavy crash in practice. That incident left the driver with a broken collarbone and sidelined him until September, effectively ending his pursuit of the season championship, which was won by his current co-driver Dirk Werner.

This year, the Farnbacher Loles Racing team is riding the success of three straight podiums and two wins, which has lifted Keen and Werner into the Championship lead along with their #87 Porsche.

Coming off a dramatic win in the Six Hours of The Glen, Keen can't wait to get back to the track. "Mid-Ohio is a special track for me. I had the big wreck in '07 that took me out of the next three races, and then in '08 I won the race with Eric. I like the track a lot, and I'm looking forward to this race...With the narrow points lead that Dirk and I have, we will have to drive the next couple of races very smart to keep our lead. I have a ton of confidence in the team and in Dirk so I feel we are definitely the guys to beat for the season, at least for now."

Lux is close behind in the points chase, only eight points out of second place in the GT Class standings. Wolf Henzler is back in Germany tending to a family obligation, so Lux will have a new co-driver for this weekend: Dominik Farnbacher. Eric and Dominik last drove together in the season opener at Daytona, where they finished fifth. "I have had a stellar season thus far with Farnbacher Loles and I hope we can maintain the momentum we have right now through the next races! Last year I won at Mid-Ohio I am looking forward to trying to land back-to-back wins at the circuit. Dominik and I haven't been co-drivers since the 24. We have similar driving styles, which makes the set-up of the car easy to agree upon and also pushes the other to go faster every time out. The #86 will have a very good shot at a third podium for the season at Mid-Ohio."

"The last three races have been just awesome for Leh and me and have the points lead," said Werner. "We now have to try to get points in every race. Leh especially has sweet memories thinking of last year's race in Mid Ohio. I expect us to be strong there and having a good shot for a podium, as the whole team is highly motivated and in brilliant shape. I'm really looking forward to this race!"

Team principal Gregory Loles shares his drivers' optimism. "We hope to keep the momentum going that we've seen over the last three events. Mid-Ohio should be a good track for us. Everyone is very focused on getting both cars a strong finish here and our drivers have shown what they can do at this track. It is great to have Dominik back in the 86 with Eric. We are very fortunate to have drivers of his caliber on call to continue the fight for championship."
