Law and Grand American Rolex Series to Wrap Up Season at Mexico City Event

October 23, 2005 -- Road racing standout Darren Law will be wrapping up his season at the final Grand America Rolex series race of the 2005 season the weekend of November 4-5 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City. Law and teammate David Donohue will be piloting the #58 Red Bull Brumos Porsche Fabcar Daytona Prototype in the 14th and final round of 2005 season.

The scheduled 250 mile race will be the first for the Grand American Rolex series in Mexico City, and will be held in conjunction with the Champ Car Series season finale.

The 2.786 mile road course offers a variety of challenging corners, and as it is their first visit to the circuit, obtaining reliable set up data for all the teams will be at a premium.

Law and Donohue, who currently sit 8th in driver points with 252 points apiece are 20 points out of 7th.

"I'm looking forward to this event," remarked Law. "Since pretty much everyone will be new to this circuit, I'm hoping that we will be able to be more competitive at this finale. Plus, it would be great to end the season on a high note."

The Grand American Rolex Series cars will take to the track for first practice on Saturday, November 4 at 8:20 am. The race is scheduled for November 5 at 3 pm and will be carried live by the SPEED Channel.
