ANDREW CAMPAGNONE JOINS GANASSI TO SERVE AS VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

CONCORD, N.C. (August 8, 2006) -- Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced today Andrew Campagnone has joined the organization to serve as the Vice President of sales and business development for its NASCAR, IRL and Rolex Sports Car Series teams.

Campagnone will be based out of Ganassi's Concord, N.C. race shop and will be responsible for overseeing business acquisitions associated with the team, as well as expanding on its current partnerships.

He comes to CGR with a strong background in sports marketing and new business development, most recently serving as the Director of Marketing and New Business at Bill Davis Racing in High Point, N.C. In addition to his NASCAR experience, Campagnone also served as the Director of Sports Marketing for Outback Steakhouse, and Sponsorship Director for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

He is a graduate of University of Delaware and is originally from Wilmington, Del. He currently resides in Concord, N.C., with his wife Kymberlie and daughter Alivia.
