Race fans to pick the Rolex Moment of the Year.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (October 15, 2003) -- What has been your favorite moment of the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series 2003 season? Was it the door-banging action from Phoenix? Or the thrilling passes for the win in the Barber 250 at The Park and Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen?

Now race fans can weigh in on what they think was the most exciting moment of the season by voting for the 2003 Rolex Moment of the Year on Grand American's official website - www.grandamerican.com. Fans can view video clips of each of the six choices and vote for their favorite beginning today. Voting for the Rolex Moment of the Year will be closed on Friday, October 31.

The six choices for this season's Rolex Moment of the Year are:

* AJ's Fine Foods 250, Phoenix International Raceway - Three-way Daytona Prototype battle for the lead between the No. 58 Red Bull Porsche, No. 54 Bell Motorsports Chevy and No. 59 Brumos Racing Porsche.

* AJ's Fine Foods 250, Phoenix International Raceway - Brent Martini in the No. 33 Ferrari 360GT passes Mike Fitzgerald in the No. 5 BMW M3 for the GT class victory on the banking in the final turn of the race.

* Barber 250 at The Park, Barber Motorsports Park - Terry Borcheller in the No. 54 Chevy passes J.C. France in the No. 59 Porsche for lead on the final lap of the race, earning Bell Motorsports its first Daytona Prototype victory.

* Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Watkins Glen International - Scott Goodyear in the No. 58 Red Bull Porsche and Didier Theys in the No. 54 Chevy race door-to-door for the lead into turn one with only two laps remaining in the race.

* Mid-Ohio Road Racing Classic, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course - David Donohue in the No. 58 Red Bull Porsche passes the No. 54 Chevy for the lead.

* Paul Revere 250, Daytona International Speedway - Darren Law in the No. 8 BMW races side-by-side on the banking with David Donohue in the No. 58 Red Bull Porsche for the lead.

The winner of the Rolex Moment of the Year will be announced at the 2003 Champions Banquet on Sunday, November 2, where the North American Road Racing Championship will be awarded.

The North American Road Racing Championship will be decided at the Grand American Champions Weekend presented by Brumos Porsche, October 30-November 1, at Daytona International Speedway.
