DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 28, 2002) -- Race fans will have four great ways to track the excitement of the 40th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona this weekend. Whether at Daytona International Speedway or sitting in the living room, car or office, everyone can keep up with all the action of this historic twice-around-the-clock race.

SEE IT IN PERSON
There is no better way to watch the Rolex 24 At Daytona than to experience it in person. And with tickets starting at only $5, its an extremely affordable option for fans. Daytona International Speedway offers a full spectrum of tickets for fans to choose from, starting with a $5 grandstand ticket to night practice on Jan. 31 to an Advanced Super Ticket that includes all four days of action.

The Super Ticket offers a $37 savings over daily admissions and allows race fans to get up close to all the action including access to the garage. The Advance Super Ticket includes four days of general admission to the infield and/or unreserved grandstand, paddock and garage access and free infield car/van parking. The ticket sells for $75 and must be purchased by 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 1.

WATCH IT ON SPEEDVISION
If fans can't make it to Daytona to see the race in person, they can still catch the action live on Speedvision. Live coverage of the 2002 season will kickoff at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, with Speedvision broadcasting from Daytona International Speedway beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 2.

The coverage will include the 1 p.m. green flag and continue until 7 p.m. on Saturday. Speedvision will pick back up with the racing action at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, and will follow the race through the checkered flag and victory lane celebration.

LISTEN TO IT ON MRN
Whether at the track or in the car, fans can tune into the Motorsports Racing Network (MRN) to listen to live coverage of the Rolex 24. Nearly 110 affiliates will carry MRN's live broadcast of the start and finish of the race, in addition to four live updates throughout the 24-hour race.

The hour-long opening broadcast will start at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 2, and will be followed with 30-minute long updates at 4:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m., and 8:30 a.m. MRN's live broadcast will rejoin the race at 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 3 for the checkered flag.

FOLLOW IT ON THE INTERNET
Throughout the entire 24-hour race, fans will be able to keep up with what is happening on the track by logging onto the internet. Grand-Am.com will provide hourly updates from the Daytona, including positioning, cautions, accidents and penalties, as well as the inside scoop on who's in, who's out, who's behind the wall and what the crew has to say.

Grand-Am.com's photo galleries will be updated periodically throughout the race, allowing fans to see the action in addition to reading about it. Daytona International Speedway's website - www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com - will also provide periodic updates throughout the race.

The 40th Anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona will kick off the 2002 Rolex Sports Car Series season, as well as SpeedWeeks at Daytona International Speedway.
