The Miller Barrett Racing team spent much of the third quarter of the Rolex 24 At Daytona in the garage. The team's No. 48 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car was back on track after replacement of the front brake pads, right-front radiator and nose at 12h, but the respite didn't last long. The car was back in the garage at 13h21 for a gearbox replacement, which was followed by a starter wire repair. Peter Ludwig replaced Hines behind the wheel, but tangled with a Daytona Prototype, forcing an early pitstop for repairs. At the 18-hour mark, Ludwig was 19th in the GT class.

Peter Ludwig: "What an agonizing evening -- alternator, battery, crankcase. But we're getting good times now; the car is nice and straight and running well. I wish we were on the podium, but maybe next year ..."
