DAVID DONOHUE (No. 5 Porsche/Riley, 14 laps led): "It was pretty much a routine stint. There are a couple of cars out there though that are consistently struggling and I don't know if that's what the cause of all these incidents is. I'm surprised to see so much body work out there this early in the race. I was trying to be conservative, but at the same time you've got to pass so you have to be alongside other cars. When you're alongside and they push you in the grass, you're a victim."
"We don't have the type of car that can qualify up front or run the lap times like some of these other guys are doing, but if we can make it up on green flag lap averages instead, we can come out ahead. Our guys are really prepared and hopefully we won't miss any time in the pits. That's how these races are won."
TERRY BORCHELLER (No. 9 Porsche/Riley): "It was hot, very hot. The air cooler stopped working and I had the dark visor to go from light to dark so I didn't want to lift it. It seems like this race gets harder every year. The pace is really quick, but we're in a good position."
