Race to Barber Podium for ORISON-Planet Earth Motorsports

Birmingham, AL - The ORISON-Planet Earth Motorsports team is making a run for the podium at the Porsche 250 this coming Sunday. The ROLEX Grand American Super Grand Sport (SGS) team is currently in second place trailing only the TPC Racing in team point standings.

"Barber is a great track for Porsches. We did well at here last year and have done very well this season in SGS. Being able to pull off a podium finish this year will be a challenge but one that we look forward to accepting," states Joe Nonnamaker.

The Porsche 250 will more than likely be one of the most exciting races of the season for the SGS class. The top five teams are all Porsche efforts. Several experienced Porsche drivers will be taking the wheel during the Sunday race. ORISON-Planet Earth Motorsports takes an enthusiastic approach in their team, drivers, and effort.

"We definitely have our work cut out for us. With the great drivers in our field finding our way to the podium will be a great accomplishment. We have won two races this season and we would like to get up there one more time. Our team has worked really hard to get these cars ready for this race. Let's hope the weather holds out to give the drivers and fans a great race here towards the end of the season," states driver Will Nonnamaker.

The ORISON-Planet Earth Motorsport team is able to compete the ROLEX Grand American series with support from GOJO, Jack Link's Beef Jerky, Menards Home Improvement, Kempthorn Auto Mall, NRAuto.com, Castle, Red Line Oil, Shelton Porsche, SpeedSource, TheRaceSite.com, TheRaceMarket.com, Grassroots Motorsports Magazine.
