GRID SET FOR TOMORROW'S RUNNING OF THE PORSCHE 250

BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 29, 2006) Qualifying for tomorrow's running of the Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant took place earlier today and Rob Finlay and Michael Valiante will start from the twelfth row for tomorrow's 109 lap/ 2 - hour time limit event. "Qualifying went alright," said Rob Finlay.

"We've had a few problems this weekend but we should be OK for the race tomorrow. The car actually felt pretty good but it was a little pushy in the rear." Finlay's weekend has been extremely busy thus far competing in both the Grand Am Cup Series and the Daytona Prototype class. Finlay qualified both cars today and competed in the 200-mile Grand Am Cup race. With a win today in the No. 15 Ford-powered Mustang, Finlay and his teammate hope to repeat the effort during tomorrow's Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant. Michael Valiante spent most of the morning session practicing in the No.5 Make- A-Wish/Z-Line Designs Ford-powered machine turning consistent lap times. "The car is pretty good," said Michael Valiante.

"There's only a few small changes that we need to make and I think we'll be alright for the race. Rob did a great job in the Cup race today and I'm sure he'll do the same tomorrow."
