Al Carter and Hugh Plumb are launching the new B+ Racing website, a tool designed to communicate with the racing fans that follow Carter and Plumb's GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge B+ Racing program with the Fall-Line Motorsports team but also for people to learn more about how they can help B+ and be involved themselves in fighting the disease.

In 2011, cancer survivor, successful entrepreneur and racecar driver, Al Carter, and co-driver and friend, Hugh Plumb, launched the B+ Racing program.

B+ Racing is a sports marketing program designed to raise money and increase awareness of The B+ Foundation, one of the fastest growing national foundations, present in 49 states and engaged in the fight against childhood cancer. 46 children are diagnosed with cancer each school day and less than 4% of federal cancer research funding goes to fund childhood cancer research.

Today the program is in its 3rd seasons and Carter and Plumb are looking to involve more corporate partners and create innovative fund raising programs such as "Leave your change for B+" allowing small or large companies to interact with their customers and also use the B+ (Be Positive) Foundation in their social mission.

The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation honors the memory of Andrew McDonough, a 14-year-old athlete and 'A' student from Wilmington, Delaware. The B+ Foundation is one of the largest grantors of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer in the country.

The B+ Foundation funds hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of research grants each year at places like St. Jude and Seattle Children's Hospital.

$0.90 of each dollar spent goes directly to the mission of funding research and helping families of kids with cancer. The B+ Foundation provides financial assistance to families of children with cancer nationwide.

In the last two years, The B+ Foundation awarded over $1,000,000 to families of children with cancer while giving over $500,000 to support research efforts. To learn more about B+ visit
