Al Carter and Hugh Plumb have been racing together in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge since the 2010 season. In 2011 they joined Fall-Line Motorsports and had two successful seasons co-driving the No. 45 Fall-Line Motorsports B+ Foundation BMW M3. In 2012, Carter and Plumb ran up front all season and after leading the driver and team championships for a while, they finished 5th overall in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

“I am really excited to continue our racing program with Hugh Plumb and Fall-Line Motorsports,” announced Al Carter. “This year is a key season for us and I know we are going to do well with the team that is really motivated. We are still in search of our illusive first win but I am confident it should come sooner than later. I am pleased to announce our new partner Eagle Tech and I am looking forward to continuing our “B+ Fighting Childhood Cancer Tour” with The B+ Foundation and meeting our B+ Heroes during the hospital visits. I can’t wait to be in Daytona. We are ready to rock and roll!”

Al Carter and Hugh Plumb tested their No. 45 Eagle B+ Racing BMW at Daytona last week to prepare for the first round of the 2013 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge to be run at Daytona International Speedway Friday, January 25.

“2013 is going to be really successful for all of the partners that make this Eagle B+ Foundation operation compete at such a high level,” announced Hugh Plumb. “I am so thankful to be a part of this effort and to have them continue to believe in me. I am really excited to race with Al Carter and be one of the 2013 championship contenders. I am also proud to get an opportunity to represent Eagle Tech, The B+ Foundation, Jetset Magazine and the other partners. Thanks to Joe McDonough’s B+ Foundation and our program, I am also very honored to play a key role in promoting the fight against childhood cancers”.

The new primary sponsor of the No. 45 car is Eagle Tech. Eagle started their partnership with Al and Hugh in Indianapolis last season and decided to increase their sponsorship program with the team over the winter.

“Eagle is proud to be associated with Al Carter and Hugh Plumb and above all The B+ Foundation,” announced Joe Nolan, CEO of Eagle Tech. “We love the racing, the camaraderie and using our talents and energies to help the children and their families. Our Company, Eagle Tech, is dedicated to B+ and hope that as we serve businesses and organizations throughout the world, some of those businesses will join us in this wonderful effort”.

The B+ Foundation is returning as one of the primary partners of the Fall-Line Motorsports No. 45 Eagle B+ Racing BMW.

The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation honors the memory of Andrew McDonough. Andrew's mom, dad and sister founded The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. The overall goal of The B+ Foundation is to "Do Good". The B+ Foundation provides financial assistance to families of children with cancer nationwide. In the last two years, The B+ Foundation awarded over $1,000,000 to families of children with cancer while giving over $500,000 to support research efforts.

“The B+ Foundation is humbled and so appreciative that Al Carter allows us to be a partner of his car at no cost to the Foundation,” said Joe McDonough, founder of the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. “Al and co-driver, Hugh Plumb, are passionate supporters of the battle against childhood cancer and have given so much to our kids. The Eagle B+ Racing Program brings so much awareness to the fight for those 46 innocent children who will be diagnosed with cancer today.”

As part of the 2013 Eagle B+ Racing program the “B+ Fighting Childhood Cancer Tour” will continue this year. Before each key race, Al Carter and Hugh Plumb with the B+ Foundation will visit a children’s hospital to meet kids with cancer and deliver The B+ (Be Positive) message and bring smiles to the children’s faces. The first stop of the 2013 tour is scheduled on Tuesday, January 22 at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
