Woodbridge, Ontario -- August 19, 2009: AIM Autosport is pleased to announce the addition of the Tower Events No. 51 Ford Riley to the starting lineup for the Montreal 200 next week at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. This all-Canadian entry features John Farano (Toronto, Ontario) and Jean-Francois Dumoulin (Trois Rivieres, Quebec) at the wheel. Both drivers have previously competed in Daytona Prototypes.

John Farano spent the last few seasons competing in the Ferrari Challenge and has run select Grand-Am Rolex races in a Mustang GT including the Rolex 24. It was originally planned for John to debut the No 51 at the 2009 Rolex 24 but a last minute change had him take one of the spots available in AIM's No. 61 Ford Riley Daytona Prototype.

Jean-Francois (JF) Dumoulin is no stranger to the Rolex Sports Car Series having started back in 2000 in the GTU class. Since then, JF has made a number of starts in SGS, GT and DP including nine appearances in the Rolex 24. He has claimed two Rolex 24 class victories - SGS in 2004 and GT in 2007. In addition to being a driver coach, JF competes in the Canadian Tire NASCAR Series alongside his brother Louis-Phillipe with their own team, Dumoulin Competition.

"I am really looking forward to competing in Montreal next week" commented Farano. "While our goal was to do a few more races this year, circumstances dictated that we concentrate on our 'home' race and build toward a full time effort next season." He continued, "I am very happy with the car and to have JF as my co-driver. JF and I did some testing recently and the guys at AIM have put together a great package for us. It should be a lot of fun, especially with last year's race champions as stable mates."

"I had my first test in the car this week and am very pleased" said Dumoulin. "AIM Autosport has given us a good car and assembled an experienced crew to support us at Montreal. I am definitely looking forward to driving a Daytona Prototype around the very fast Circuit Gilles Villeneuve." JF continued, "I'd like to thank John and AIM for the opportunity and I am really looking forward to getting on track next week in front of the home crowd."
