Argentina´s driver could test several different settings with his ART Grand Prix GP3/13, both in dry and wet conditions. Despite the sessions were red-flagged a big number of times, Regalia finished happy with the work completed and being 10th fastest.
Facu Regalia completed another positive day yesterday at Estoril, the second of the collective testing of GP3 in Portugal. After solving the problems with the car on Wednesday, yesterday the main problem were the red flags in the morning, due to rather off-tracks caused by heavy rain.
In the afternoon rain stopped and the track got dry, so the Argentine driver could test on slick tires as well. Finally his best time was a lap of 1:28.722, 10th fastest among twenty-seven drivers attending these tests, and almost thirty laps completed.
“Today we could test very different things, not just with my car but also with my teammates´ ones. The changeable weather conditions were very useful to practice with different set-ups solutions, achieving interesting conclusions.
Anyway there is room for improvement. The morning was pretty difficult due to red flags and the afternoon we need to cope with heavy traffic, because it wasn´t easy to set a clean lap.
Let´s see how Friday goes and if we´re able to keep on making progress with the car”, Regalia commented.
