German Team RSC Mucke Motorsport and Nigel Melker again together in the 2011 GP3 Series - Peter Mucke: "We are looking forward to the further co-operation and coming achievements"
Berlin (rol/ot) The German Team RSC Mucke Motorsport from Berlin and Nigel Melker will be on track together in 2011 again at the GP3 Series. Peter Mucke (63) together with Ralf Schumacher and the 19 year old Netherland worked out an extension of the contract. That announced Peter Mucke on Wednesday (29th of September).
"We had a typical rookie year at the GP3 with ups and downs. But at the last race at Monza we were able to show where we are at with the placings 2, 4 and 8 at the qualifying", tells the team principal.
Now we want to knot on to this performance at the two tests scheduled this year at Estoril (Portugal/13th to 15th of October) and at Jerez (Spain/20th to 22nd of October). That is where they also want to look for new drivers for the Team RSC Mucke Motorsport. "We already have a few promising talents in sight, but we haven't decided yet who is driving in the end", explains Peter Mucke.
"It is a fantastic opportunity to upgrade the car continuously with Nigel's experience at the winter tests. That is where we will place the foundation for a successful season in 2011. We are confident that we will race for the championship the next year."
