BUDAPEST: STEFANO COLETTI AGAIN ON THE PODIUM IN HUNGARY TOO

After ther third place scored a week ago at Hockenheim, Stefano Coletti confirmed himself on the podium also at Budapest in the sixth round of the GP3 Series 2010.

The driver from Monaco set the third fastest lap in qualifying on Satuday, just 45 thousands shy of the author of the pole Nico Muller (Jenzer Motorsport). Race one did not live particular twists and saw Coletti finishing third at the end of a flawless performance; in race two, the color bearer for team Tech 1 finished fourth instead, right at the feet of the podium.

Stefano Coletti:
"The intense GP3's calendar allowed me to get to know in depth the single seater during the last few weeks and the the work done with the team turned out to be fruitful. The setup in qualifying was practically perfect and the pole, missed for a whisker, was at my reach but I unfortunately met yellow flags in my best lap.

During the races we confirmed a good level of competitiveness: the result of race one kept the starting positions at the front, while race two offered me several overtaking chances and should I have had a few laps more I would have probably obtained the third place.

The results harvested this weekend, together with those obtained at Hockenheim, make my position in the classification more interesting: I am now seventh and I reckon the third final place is a realistic objective".

The GP3 Series will be back on track next 29 August at Spa-Francorchamps.
