Esteban arrives to Hungary as the absolute leader of the GP3 Series
Budapest, Hungary - On a season that has been full of success for young promise of Mexican motorsport, Esteban Gutierrez, who drives ART Grand Prix's car number 2 arrived today at the city of Mogyorod, near Budapest, for rounds 11 and 12 of the season, which will take place from July 30th to August 1st , and where he expects to continue widening the gap on the driver's championship of the GP3 Series.
Gutierrez has achieved four victories, three third places, two pole positions, and four fastest laps in ten races, all of which places him at the top of the drivers chart with 64 points, 30 points ahead of his closest rival, Canadian driver Robert Wickens, who drives for Status GP, currently on 34 points.
There are still six races in the season, with 60 points available; Esteban will seek to earn as many as he can to continue adding up and keep himself at the top of the championship, where he has been since the second event of the year.
Like in previous events, the GP of Hungary will have two 30 minute races around the historical 4.381km length track of the Hungaroring.

"Hungaroring is a difficult track on a race situation due to its long high speed curves. For that reason, qualifying will be critical."
"We are very happy with our performance so far, because thanks God we've been able to take advantage of our opportunities in every aspect."
"We will continue working with the same mindset we've had since the beginning, not thinking too much in the points difference in order for every member of our team to continue focused in our job," said the young Mexican driver.
