Dennis enters GP3 with Arden, secures Le Mans drive
British racer Jake Dennis will move up to the GP3 series for the 2016 campaign, lining up with Arden International.

He will also join Arden's endurance racing partners Jota in their LMP2 machine in the 6 Hours of Spa and, subsequently, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Dennis, 20, is backed by British talent support programme Racing Steps Foundation and was the champion in Intersteps in 2011 and Formula Renault 2.0 NEC in 2012.
A six-time European F3 race winner for Prema this year, Dennis did two days of the GP3 post-season Abu Dhabi test with Arden – and finished third on both occasions.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for me - an absolute win-win situation for sure," said Dennis. "Not only do I get to take another step up the single-seater ladder with one of the top teams in GP3 but I also get my first taste of endurance racing with a Le Mans LMP2 class-winning team as well.
“This will let me showcase what I'm capable of in front of probably the two biggest audiences in motorsport, which will be invaluable as I progress my career.”
Arden took Mitch Evans and Daniil Kvyat to the GP3 drivers' title in 2012 and 2013 respectively, but has yet to win the teams' honours.
With a line-up of Emil Bernstorff, Kevin Ceccon and Alex Bosak, it finished third in the 2015 championship.
“This programme for Jake is exactly what Arden and Jota have joined together to create and we are delighted that our partnership is benefiting a driver of his calibre,” said Arden boss Julian Rouse.
"There is a long-term plan for Jake that we are all working towards and it is great that the Racing Steps Foundation shares the same vision as us.”
Dennis will become the third RSF protege to race in GP3, following in the footsteps of 2011 runner-up James Calado and 2013 race winner Jack Harvey – both of whom ran for ART.
