Bamboo GP3 signs Melville McKee for 2013 season

Bamboo Engineering adds BRDC Rising Star to their team for the GP3 Series title fight.

Bamboo Engineering are proud to announce the signing of British Singaporean Melville McKee to join their GP3 team for it’s maiden season in the 2013 GP3 Season.

McKee has completed a number of tests with the Silverstone based outfit, performing particularity well during the final test in Silverstone. McKee grabbed the headlines by ranking 5th overall on the first days timesheets, he had been first on the timesheets half way through the second session and showed real pace throughout.

McKee is a BRDC Rising Star and was a McLaren Autosport Award finalist in 2012, he has climbed through the ranks of Karting, from Rotax Max, then moving to Formula Lista and then into Formula Renault 2.0 as well as racing in the Formula Renault Eurocup.
