Known in racing circles as a touring car team, Bamboo Engineering purchased the Atech GP3 Series team as they move toward open-wheel. A plus for the team is they have raced on the same circuits with their WTCC cars.
Bamboo Engineering are proud to announce that they will be competing in the GP3 Series Championship as they rebrand GP3 team Atech GP.
Bamboo Engineering who are better known for running Touring Cars in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and formerly in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) are set to compete in the 2013 GP3 Series that commences at the Circuit de Catalunya, Spain in May this year.
Bamboo have drafted the expert hand of Jonny Ostrowski into the team. Jonny has first hand experience with leading Grand Prix names including McLaren as well as decades of motorsport experience to draw on including winning multiple races in World series by Renault and F3.

The first event in the 2013 GP3 Series calendar takes place at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain on the 10th May 2013. Incorporating two races per weekend, reverse grids and identical cars, the GP3 Series never fails to entertain.
