At the conclusion of the second GP3 Series test in Barcelona, Bamboo Engineering are reflecting on a successful two days on track in some inclement weather.

The story of day one was all about the team’s fastest time of the test, this came at the hands of Lewis Williamson who was on for a time that would have put him in P3, however a red flag halted his progress. Day two was marred with bad weather, with Bamboo Engineering missed the brief window of good weather whilst working on the cars but still yielded positive results.

Richard Coleman – Chief Executive – Bamboo Engineering: “The past two days of testing have been of mixed emotions, I’m frustrated with the weather, we had so much to do on track but I’m pleased with what we have learnt and it was good for Williamson to put in another fast time confirming we’re heading in the right direction in terms of development.”

The team head back to their Silverstone base to prepare for the next test in at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain on the 10-12 May.
