All three drivers are now in Portugal and awaiting their first laps of the Official GP3 Series test at the 2.6 mile ex F1 race circuit in the morning. This will be the first outing for Bamboo Engineering and the first test for the brand new 2013 GP3 Series car.

Richard Coleman – Chief Executive – Bamboo Engineering, “This is a very important test for us all, we’ve done lots of work in the past week off the track and we’re looking forward to working through the programme, despite the impending weather. The guys can’t wait to get out and test in anger; likewise the mechanics are keen to see how the new car performs. We’re getting close to finalising our driver line–up for the season and have some great young drivers waiting in the wings. “

The first event in the 2013 GP3 Series calendar takes place at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain on the 10th May 2013. Incorporating two races per weekend, reverse grids and identical cars, the GP3 Series never fails to entertain.
