TRAFFIC HAMPERS SCUDERIA COLONI IN VALENCIA

The traffic found on track by Alberto Valerio during his try with the second set of new tyres prevented Scuderia Coloni from clinching a great qualifying result in Valencia.

The Brazilian driver has a special feeling with the Spanish street circuit, and this became clear for everybody when he posted the sixth fastest time with the first set of tyres.

Everything seemed set for a qualification in the first three rows, but with the second set of tyres Valerio did find traffic in both his fast laps, finding even three slower cars on the racing line in one single lap. That's why Alberto will start from 13th position in tomorrow's Race 1.

Good qualifying for Arabadzhiev. Despite Valencia not being the easier track for a rookie, Vladimir improved a lot from Free Practice to Qualifying. The Bulgarian driver made the most of both his sets of tyres and qualified in 10th row, really close to more experienced drivers like Jerome D'Ambrosio and Ho-Pin Tung.

Paolo Coloni: "We are very satisfied of Arabadzhiev's performance. He was very focused right from the start of Free Practice and he faced an unknown track in the right way. Thinking about Valerio we are obviously disappointed because a great result was there, we just had to grab it. Unfortunately, on a city circuit is very easy to find traffic in the wrong spot".
