Second podium of the season for Bianchi Valencia, 26 June -- The fourth round of the GP2 series is in action in Valencia, alongside the ninth round of the Formula 1 World Championship. In the first of two races on this busy Spanish weekend, Jules Bianchi, one of the youngsters in the Ferrari Driver Academy programme came home in second place, at the wheel of one of the two ART Grand Prix cars. He crossed the line behind the Rapax team's Pastor Maldonado and ahead of team-mate Sam Bird. This was the young Frenchman's second podium finish of the season, after taking third place in Race 2 over the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.

Also this afternoon, the street circuit hosted the first race of the third round in the GP3 series, the other junior formula on the programme in Spain. On the entry list, another pupil of the Maranello school, in the shape of Mirko Bortolotti: he managed to make up three places from his original grid position to finish the race in eighteenth spot, while the race was dominated by Art Grand Prix's Esteban Gutierrez, who won from Robert Wickens (Status GP) and Robert Mehri (Atech CRS GP.) Both of our young drivers will tackle their second races tomorrow, starting from 9.25.
