FDA -- Bianchi qualifies third Valencia, 25 June - Almost a month after the previous round in Istanbul, the two junior series are once again joining the Formula 1 World Championship runners here at the Valencia street circuit. For the GP2 competitors it is round four and for the GP3 racers it is round three. Having set the fifth fastest time in free practice in the morning, Jules Bianchi took third spot in qualifying (1.45.658) which means he starts from the second row for tomorrow's first of two races, behind the Barwa Addax Team car of Sergio Perez (1.45.337) and Pastor Maldonado in the Rapax car (1.45.462).

The other young hopeful from the Ferrari Driver Academy racing in GP3 this weekend is Mirko Bortolotti and the first free practice session has just ended in Valencia, prior to tomorrow's decisive qualifying session: unfortunately, the Italian driver could do no better than sixteenth place (2.00.705) in a session dominated by the two ART Grand Prix cars of Esteban Gutierrez (1.59.459) and Alexander Rossi (1.59.725) ahead of the Carlin team?s Dean Smith (1.59.818.)
