First october test

Trident Racing went back to action today for the first test session of the new GP2 series season. At the wheels for this occasion the "veteran" Andreas Zuber, who will test again tomorrow, and the young newzealander Chris Van der Drift.

Andreas Zuber
"It has been a very good day. I am happy to sit again in the cockpit and to work once more with my Trident Racing crew. We worked well being definetely able to improve the car. So In the end I got the second fastest lap, which is quite the perfect way to finish our afternoon program. Tomorrow I will drive again and I am quite shure I will be able to get some more satisfaction from the job we will do".

Chris Van der Drift
"I am happy and satisfied of all the things I did today. The team did its best to make me comfortable so I could enjoy the drive of such a highly performing car. Obviously there is a great difference between the GP2 and the Formula Renault cars, which means I did not drive to establish a superfast lap but just to understand the singleseater. I am impressed by the brakes efficiency and enthusiast about the great engine power. There are many things to learn but today has definetely been a great day".
