Day One.
Clear sky- Temperature 20C

A hard day of work for Trident Racing today but there are no fast laps because of the unlucky circumstances. A problem at the fly-by-wire throttle disturbed Andreas Zuber while Gimmi Bruni was ready for his flier when a red flag prematurely stopped the session. But this is not too bad because the engineers are satisfied with the job done and for tomorrow they are confident to achieve good performances.

GIMMI BRUNI # 26
43 laps in total - best lap 1'24:875

"During the morning I drove laps enough to find a good set up. In the afternoon I continued with the first tyre set and toward the end the team gave me the second set for a flying lap. But I had to abort it as soon as I get out of the pit lane because of a red flag. So the session ended fifteen minutes in advance. Anyway I saved the tyres so tomorrow I will have three new sets to exploit. Barcelona is one of my favourite circuits, be sure I will properly exploit them".

ANDREAS ZUBER # 27
55 laps in total - best lap 1'24:721

"This morning I took confidence with the track and drove without pressure following the orders of my engineers, fully exploiting the first tyre set. In the afternoon, with the second set, I've had a bit of bad luck because a problem at the fly-by-wire throttle caused misfire to my engine on the main straight. So I couldn't push as I could. When the problem has been fixed a red flag prematurely stopped the session. Anyway the day was not that bad and I'm sure tomorrow will be better".
