The GP2 collective tests are began today in the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Spain that anticipate the start of the 2013 championship.

Stéphane Richelmi was on track with DAMS team, team champion, that has won the Drivers' title for two consecutive years and for the new season it has chosen the young driver from Monaco to continue this path of great success.

During the morning session, Richelmi made 15 laps and finished in the "Top 5" with a time of 1'25"574.

In the afternoon, the test is started again and Richelmi made more laps, staying for a long time at the top. At the end of the day, the DAMS driver finished in 8th place with 28 laps further, very important to know the car and work closely with engineers in different set-ups.

The collective test will continue tomorrow and Thursday.
