The weekend of Silverstone, fifth round of the GP2 Series 2013, ended with the tenth place in the Sprint Race for Stefano Coletti, which came at the end of a stunning recover from the twenty-first place after the flawless retirement of yesterday due to the incident happened in the last lap when the fourth place seemed to be secured.

The young Monegasque put in a good start as usual and gained a stunning seven position straight away. During the first two laps an unleashed Coletti recovered all the way up to the tenth place, slotting in right behind Alexander Rossi (EQ8 Catheram Racing).

In the following phase the race did not offer particular chances to Team Rapax's driver and the current classification leader kept his tenth place until the chequered flag.

The victory went to John Lancaster (Hilmer Motorsport), who was followed by Rio Haryanto (Barwa Addax Team) and James Calado (ART Grand Prix). Coletti keeps the lead of the classification with 120 points, Nasr follows at 98 and Bird at 89.

Stefano Coletti: "The unexpected epilogue of yesterday's race forced me to start from the back which spoiled the result of today. I managed to recover several positions at the start taking advantage of a gap on the left-hand side, also avoiding the cars involved in several contacts.

Some more overtaking allowed me to climb into tenth and then the race got stabilized. I clearly expected more from this weekend, but classification-wise things could have gone much worse and in a week time I will have another chance to strengthen my lead at Nurburgring".
