Sixth row for Coletti with a bit of regret in Singapore

The Monegasque driver of team Rapax, Stefano Coletti is currently third in the classification.

An unusual qualifying interrupted in the middle by a red flag gave Stefano Coletti the sixth row of the Main Race's starting grid of the Singapore round of the GP2 Series, that is the penultimate of the season.

The Monegasque driver of team Rapax, currently third in the classification and well within the title fight, in his main attempt was unfortunately slowed down by some other single seaters on track in the same moment. The session ended with the eleventh time to Stefano Coletti while the pole position went to Joylon Palmer (Carlin), followed by Felipe Nasr (Carlin) and Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering).

Stefano Coletti: "Traffic often plays a key role on street tracks and today it has not been on my side. The sixth row still leaves room for a counter-charge, but tomorrow I will have to push since the start".

The weekend's programme will continue tomorrow with the Main Race (start scheduled for 10.05 GMT+2), while the Sprint Race will take place on Sunday from 10.10. Both races will go live on Sky Sport F1 HD.
