Bianchi second and Bortolotti in the points Silverstone, 10 July -- Jules Bianchi recorded his third podium finish of the season at Silverstone in the first race at the fifth round of the GP2 series, being held on the same card as the tenth round of the Formula 1 World Championship. The young Art Grand Prix team driver unfortunately was not able to maintain the pole position he took yesterday in qualifying and was overtaken at the start by Pastor Maldonada, driving for the Rapax team, but he did cross the line in second place ahead of Racing Engineering's Dani Clos, who rounded off the podium trio. Another youngster from the Ferrari Driver Academy, Mirko Bortolotti is also at Silverstone, for the fourth round of the GP3 series. Driving for the Addax Team, the Italian managed to make up no less than four places compared to his grid position, getting into the points in eighth place. The race was won by poleman Esteban Gutierrez (Art Grand Prix,) followed by Rio Haryanto (Manor Racing) and Nico Muller (Jenzer Motorsport.) Both Bianchi and Bortolotti will be racing again here at the English track tomorrow in the second races of their respective series.
