Coloni Motorsport drivers had a difficult qualifying session at Silverstone. The Italian Gimmi Bruni and the Austrian Mathias Lauda will respectively start in sixth and twelfth row on the grid for Race 1. Both Coloni's Dallara-Renault went on the track with a black strip on the front nose for showing team's support to all English people dramatically touched from the London bombs.

During free practice Bruni took a good third position, only two tenth off the pace and was very confident for qualifying. Unfortunately, Gimmi wasn't able to improve more than two second, while the poleman Rosberg improved three second. Lauda did a good free practice session, but in qualifying he was struggling by some engine problems and lost speed in the straights.

Gimmi Bruni: "It has been quite a strange qualifying session. We have been using two different set-up from practice to qualifying and, unfortunately, the one used on qualifying did not work well. So, for the race we will use the first solution and I will try to do my best for taking some points. We need to wait for the race and to see what it will happen."

Mathias Lauda: "After qualifying together with my engineers we checked all the data and we saw a lack of speed in all the straights. We had some engine problem and now we are evaluating to put on a new engine for the race."

Enzo Coloni - Technical Director: "We have been testing two different set-ups on Gimmi's car: unfortunately, on qualifying we went on track with the second solution which did not proved to work well. Lauda suffered a lack of speed and was not able to score a good time: now, we are working hard to sort out the problem. I am confident for tomorrow race, we fixed the right solution for both drivers. "

The Race 1 will start at 14:45 (local time).
