Richelmi crosses the finish line in 5th place in Race 1 at Nurburgring

The appointment in the Nurburgring circuit in Germany started in the best way yesterday for Stéphane Richelmi who has won the Pole Position in qualifying with a beautiful performance, winning the 1st place today at the start of Race 1.

The Monegasque driver showed his potential with a record time recorded in one of the most difficul european track, under the eyes of the whole circus of the GP2 and Formula 1. Today the first race of the weekend is started at 3.40 pm and the challenge among the 26 drivers was difficult and full of emotions.

After 34 laps and the mandatory pit stop, Richelmi has crossed the finish line in 5th place, earning more points for the championship, which will be added to those of yesterday, achieved thanks to the Pole.

Given the rule of the reverse grid for the first 8 drivers, tomorrow in Race 2 Richelmi will start from the 2nd row of the grid and then he promises another great show. The start will be at 10:30 am, always live on Sky Sports.
