It is my priority this year to understand the car as much as possible and take the most advantage of the experience of a winning team, to reach the highest level. I have a lot of confidence in Racing Engineerings people and believe that is a fundamental part to be able to advance and improve in each race".

Alfonso de Orleans-Borbon, Team Principal: "Racing Engineering is pleased to have entered an agreement with a driver of the Danis talent. I have always wanted him to race with us, since our days in F3. This it is a two year project and during the first season, Dani will adapt to the category and the GP2 car. But considering his experience and the fact that he has already driven a Formula One car, I am sure he will come up with some surprises. After, we will try to win the title with him".
