The three day test session at the French circuit of Paul Ricard - 11th to 13th of March - marks the beginning of the 2009 GP2 Main Series season.

With a total of six test days before the beginning of the championship at the Spanish Grand Prix in May, Fat Burner Racing Engineering is looking forward to this first session of testing, where the insights gained by the engineers during the winter months will be put to the test.

Four months have passed since the GP2 cars last ran at Paul Ricard and Fat Burner Racing Engineering's crew was very busy in order to repeat the great performance of 2008. These test will additionally be the team's first outing as Fat Burner Racing Engineering as well as with a completely new look and two new drivers behind the wheel of its Dallara GP2 cars, Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi and Spaniard Dani Clos.

Everyone at Fat Burner Racing Engineering is looking forward to this first tests. The team arrives in France with a busy testing plan in order to prepare well the upcoming season. Dani Clos already drove for the team at Paul Ricard last November and left everyone with a good impression. For Lucas Di Grassi, this will be his first time at the wheel of Fat Burner Racing Engineering's car, and the aim is to have both adapting as quickly as possible.

Therefore, these first three days of testing in 2009 will help the team and the drivers learn to work closely with each other. Furthermore, they will be important for Dani Clos, who will be getting used to the car during his debut year in GP2.
