Second day of testing for Fat Burner Racing Engineering at the Circuito de Catalunya near Barcelona, where the team continues working on its preparations for the upcoming 2009 season of the GP2 Main Series.

Both Fat Burner Racing Engineering drivers, Lucas Di Grassi and Dani Clos, continued working on their respective test programs for the three days of testing at Barcelona. Race simulations, as well as an in depth evaluation of the performance of the medium compound tyres, which are used for the first time this year at the Spanish track, were the main points on both drivers lists.

Dani Clos, after the disappointment of having seen his engine break at the beginning of yesterday's morning session, concluded a positive day of testing today. Dani was 7th in the morning and continues to adapt to the GP2 car. He completed a total of 58 laps today, which include a race simulation during the afternoon session.

His team-mate Lucas Di Grassi proved, once again, to be one of the fastest drivers of the category marking the second best time of the day. Lucas also switched to race simulation during the afternoon and can look back onto a valuable day of work.

Lucas Di Grassi: "This was another good day of testing, like yesterday. We finished second overall today and in the afternoon did some race simulation. Everything went really smoothly and we had no problem at all. Everything is improving and we are advancing with our test program".

Dani Clos: "This afternoon we were basically trying to make some race simulation. This is very important for me to see how the tyres are after several laps on the track. The morning session was pretty good for me. Now I have to work on making all best sector times in only one lap".

Alfonso de Orleans-Borbon, Team President: "I am quite confident with today's work as it was useful and we gained important information. Obviously this is not reflected in the times, but this was not our intention. Everyone did a decent job and I am quite happy. Now we have one day of testing left tomorrow before the season starts".
