The Direxiv Motorsport drivers Hiroki Yoshimoto, Olivier Pla and Clivio Piccione are hoping for better things in tommorow's GP2 race at Monza after failing to show their true potential in qualifying. BCN driver Hiro Yoshimoto is the best placed of the three in 14th, while Olivier Pla (DPR) and Clivio Piccione (Durango) are back in 17th and 19th.

Hiroki Yoshimoto, BCN Competicion: 14th - 1m35.831s
"I don't know what to say. Every lap I was getting a tow from somebody really slow. The car felt better than this. I know if I had got a proper tow I could have been 0.6 or 0.7s faster and that would have put me in the top five. We need to see how many cars I can pass tomorrow."

Olivier Pla, David Price Racing: 17th - 1m36.044s
"We are actually really slow, but I'm not sure why because it's not a difficult track. We need to understand what's happened and see what we can do tomorrow. It's too early to say but hopefully it's possible for us to get a good result."

Clivio Piccione, Durango Racing Team: 19th - 1m36.365s
" I just don't know what's missing. I had no tow at all but I was pushing the car right to the limit and still the time didn't come. We need to find two seconds! So we just have to look at the data and find out what's missing, but as it stands, it looks like it's going to be a tough race tomorrow."

Misato Haga, President and CEO, Direxiv Motorsport:
"A difficult day on a difficult track for our drivers. It looks like it's going to be a tough weekend but hopefully there will be some points in it for us before the weekend is over."
