Alvaro Parente wants to be in the top again

After two victorious weekends, Alvaro Parente goes to the Italian GP2 round with high motivation and is confident in a good result, though he knows that it won't be easy to continue his winning stream.

The Oporto's driver huge talent has been in the spotlight in the last couple of weeks, after winning the first GP2 race of Spa-Francorchamps and the second Superleague Formula race at Estoril, in a car and in a competition that he didn't know.

In the next weekend Alvaro Parente will be at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza for the next round of the competition that gave more drivers to Formula 1 in the last few years, a circuit that he already knows and where, at 2005, he emphatically won all the three British F3 Championship races. "Monza is a special circuit, it's different from all the others where we have been this season. Its long straights demand a low downforce car and with a good mechanical grip to brake well for the chicanes and to have good traction to come out of the slow corners. It's one of the most important circuits of the world and I enjoy it very much; I've already won there", said the driver supported by Soccerade, Delta, TMN, Aurora Group, Geotur and Cision.

The twenty-four years old driver, after the successes from the last two weekends, underlines that he won't be complacent and says that he work even harder to be again in the top step of podium. "We will work through the weekend to keep the pace that we show at Spa-Francorchamps, something that I think we can achieve. Our goal is to do two good races and to try to repeat the win from Spa-Francorchamps, but it will be hard, because the GP2 field is very competitive", said the Ocean Racing Technology driver.
